Unlock Your Potential: Why Choose Us for Pelvic Floor Health

At Hope and Light Pelvic Health, we’re not just another physical therapist office—we’re your partners in pelvic floor wellness. Here’s why choosing us sets you on the path to renewed confidence and vitality:

Orthopedic Pelvic Health

Merging orthopedic expertise with Pelvic Health enables me to better serve my clients.  Using a whole person approach, I can more quickly determine the root cause, and not just spend time treating the symptoms.

Orthopedic PT involves assessing the musculoskeletal system through movement analysis, postural evaluation, joint and soft tissue mobility, range of motion, strength and neurological testing.

Women’s Health

Pelvic PT’s are specialized in assessing the tissue health & muscles in & around the pelvis. We are trained in understanding complex issues surrounding reproductive & sexual health, pelvic pain, bladder and bowel health.

Your pelvic floor muscles play an important role in sexual health and pleasure, bladder & bowel continence, and pelvic organ support.  They also work with your diaphragm, abdominal & back muscles.

Holistic Approach

A holistic approach to physical therapy (PT) involves treating the whole person rather than just focusing on a specific injury or condition.

It considers the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit in promoting health and well-being.

I specialize in Individual Care, Patient Empowerment, Nutrition and Lifestyle Counseling, Mind-Body Connection and Collaborative Care.

Sexual Health

Pelvic Physical Therapists (PTs) who provide sexual health support typically offer a comprehensive approach to addressing pelvic health issues such as dyspareunia (painful sex), vulvodynia, decreased libido and difficulty with orgasm.

We conduct a thorough assessment of the patient’s pelvic health, including any issues related to sexual function. This may involve discussing symptoms, medical history, and performing physical examinations of vulvar and vaginal tissues, pelvic muscles and nerves to identify any underlying physical factors affecting sexual health.

Pregnancy and Postpartum

Pelvic Physical Therapy (PT) plays a crucial role in supporting women during pregnancy and in the postpartum period by addressing musculoskeletal issues, pelvic floor dysfunction, and other concerns related to pregnancy and childbirth.
Here’s how Pelvic PT can help:
Pain Relief During Pregnancy | Pelvic Floor Preparation | Preparation for Labor | Education and Support | Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation | Diastasis Recti Rehabilitation

Menopause Support

At Hope and Light, our focus is on putting women at the center of their menopause journey. We believe in acknowledging and validating their unique experiences during this transition. Our clinic provides a nurturing space where women feel heard and supported as they share their symptoms, worries, and treatment preferences. Education is key in empowering women to take charge of their health and advocate for the care they deserve. Our holistic approach combines education, manual therapy, lifestyle guidance, and exercise to support women in thriving during this transformative phase of life.
